Allegiances (The Battling McGuire Boys)

Oh my goodness, I was completely addicted to this book and could not for the life of me put it down. I started and finished it in a matter of hours, putting aside work, even kids and hubby! Having invested time and money into this series and family, I found the conclusion hugely satisfying. I adored both Celia and Sully, though I was a little unsure of Sully in the beginning. We know from the start that he hurt Celia badly, but I love a man who can admit when he's wrong and I never for one second doubted his love for her. These two had an unbelievable, soul-deep connection that was absolutely beautiful to behold. Their passion and desire was the stuff of dreams and their undying love for each other brought tears to my eyes. The romance and suspense were both too good for words, and I never would've guessed who the killer actually turned out to be. I was so gland to see this family finally get justice for their parents too. The ending was spectacular and the things Sully says to Celia were utterly breathtaking. I'm hopeful and pretty sure we haven't seen the last of these McGuire's yet, thankfully! Overall it was simply a wonderful and heartfelt story that tugged at my emotions and I truly enjoyed every moment I spent reading it!
