Not level 1, but cute.

Cute stories, but definitely not level one. Plus “Amelia Bedelia” is written at least once on every page and it’s quite hard for a 4 year old to say. Here’s a picture to compare what a level 1 book should be to what these books are like.

These "Amelia Bedelia as a kid" book really suck all the charm out of Amelia Bedelia

These "Amelia Bedelia as a kid" book really suck all the charm out of Amelia Bedelia. This AB is literal minded but it's never expressed as the walking disaster that is the original AB. Kids might still like these books but they're not nearly as much fun. As a parent, they're a chore to get through.

So disappointed

So disappointed. I have an old school AB I read with my daughter recently and she laughed so hard So I bought these but these ARE NOT FUNNY at all. They are kind of missing the whole point of AB. They are good enough stories but not anything like Amelia B.

Amelia Bedelia is a favorite for a beginning reader!

Our first grade granddaughter loves these books! She especially likes the cup cake book because she and Mommy recently baked cupcakes for her birthday. These books are great for beginning readers.
She is a returning satisfied learning reader!

Hope for better packing!!

The books are great. It's the label stuck to it I'm unhappy about. I've been trying to peel it off for the last hour. I was going to give it to a Grandchild. Now(unless I can get it off) I will just keep it here for her to read. The five stars are for the books

Not Level 1

The books are so cute and my daughter likes them. But they are definitely not level 1 reading books.
We still enjoy them though.😊

Not the Amelia Bedelia books I am used to

The stories are not the typical stories of Amelia Bedelia. The stories don't have age appropriate misunderstandings and they just are not the same "literal" stories I am used and did not keep the reader engaged (my son).
