Animal Jam: Official Insider's Guide

My girls haven't put it down since we got it!! It's a nice thick volume and seems to have met all of their expectations!

All three of my kids (11, 9, and 7) love this game and have learned a lot about animals in this super fun virtual world. This book is great because it gives lots of factual information about the real-life animals, plus the back stories on the alphas and avatars. I was impressed with how much they managed to pack in and how fun this book is to browse. My youngest read it cover to cover without any prompting (and she's been avoiding some of the rest of her summer reading). What a cool blend of real and virtual, fact and fiction, photos and art! National Geographic offers so many amazing ways for kids to learn these days.

THIS. IS. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Animal Jam and I play it every day. I loved reading through all this and learning facts about Jamaa, the Animal Jam world, and about the real world and its animals!! The book also contains a code for animal jam-I'm not going to tell what it is, as I don't want to spoil it ;) Plus, there were a LOT of pictures of real animals and things in the Animal Jam game! Also, the book contains behind the scenes at Animal Jam Headquarters (AJHQ) It contains the making of Animal Jam worlds to explore and it's animals to play as in the game! I loved this book and would recommend it a lot!

Fun book. It's much more than a game guide. Lots of interesting pictures and stories about all kinds of animals and habitats. I read it, and I never play the actual game. (It's for my kid thst plays Animal Jam)

My step daughter was really excited and surprised I got her the book. She is obsessed with Animal Jam. She reads it so much and Its got a lot of wear on it now.

My 10 year old daughter just loves this book and cannot put it down. It is great because it's an educational book.

This is way better than I expected! Pages and pages of Animal Jam content. My 13-year-old just happily did ALL of the laundry and dishes today to get this reward. Happy kid and happy mom!

great book! but the only thing about it is that i found the code but when i typed it in it wouldn't work.

Both of my daughters love to play Animal Jam. This was a last minute Christmas gift for my 11 year old and it arrived on Christmas Eve (thanks to two day amazing shipping). The book is filled with ideas on the game but it also gives the kids information about their animal that they are using while playing the game and some nice little notes to remember about different parts of the world.

This is a book I bought for my daughter, who is 10, who loves all things animal jam, so she is the one who picked the star rating and these are her comments on it:

"I liked that it had the animal jam lore, and it also showed the world map for animal jam and how to use it. It showed some of the animals, but it doesn't show all of the animals because this didn't really come out recently. So it shows a lot of the animals, but it doesn't show all of them (it was made in 2014). So most of it's here (from the game) but not all. And another thing is, like um, it has real life facts in it. And I thought it would kind of be a book about all animal jam stuff, so I was kind of startled when I saw that at first. There weren't any tip for the adventures, it just had descriptions of them, so it didn't help me with the stuff I needed it to. "
