Assignment In Eternity by Robert A. Heinlein

Assignment In Eternity is four thought provocative stories by Robert A. Heinlein. Gulf is about a secret agent who saves Earth. Elsewhen is about college students time traveling. Lost Legacy is about a wrong turn taken in history. Jerry Was A Man is about a legal case in genetics. That's all I'm going to say about the stories. All four are excellent stories. I appreciate the fact that the reader would like to read them the way I did, without knowing the contents.

Classic SciFi still worth reading

Love the old Heinlein. This one recreates some of my favorite stories with an intro and afterward by David Drake. So many things in Heinlein's writing have come true today. One of the stories -- written in the 1940s -- refers to cell phones with video chat!

One of the best sci-fi writers ever.

Always loved R.A.H.'s writing since I discovered his works while in high school.

Heinlein review

I'm new to the sci- fi genre, and to the world of Robert A. Heinlein. Just getting into this title, trying to get a feel for the plot and characters, though it's getting good the more I read.
