A nice East End read

Even in war-time Pearl Jenkins find joy when she weds Jim Nesbitt. But the war is not the only thing that brings a dark cloud over her happy day. The un-welcome site is Ricky Winters a young man from her past, a past that Jim does not know about. And now Ricky is seeing Pearl's younger sister Ruby. When Jim decides to join up, Pearl is left to deal with the homefront and Ricky.
"East End Angel" by Carol Rivers is a okay read. I thought that that the story moved at a pretty decent pace. The reason that I didn't not give the book 4 stars because the main reason for all the conflict is that the character didn't talk to each other and after a while it seemed silly. Overall though, "East End Angel" was a nice and easy read.
