A book with wheels!

My 15 month son is crazy about this book. We first found it at Horizons bookstore in Traverse City while waiting for a family member. My son wheeled the book around the store--keeping him busy for a half hour! Reading the book or pushing it around never fails to engage him--I'm purchasing a new copy now because he has used it a bit too much! (I recommend reinforcing the binding with a bit of tape if you've got a vigorous boy like I do.)

Cute

Our 20 month old loves to "read" and "wheel" this book all over the house. Only one complaint - the book has one page where they title the picture as a Jeep, but it's actually a Ford Bronco. We always laugh at that page. :D

A book and a toy!

This is a fun book about fire trucks! It is well made and has excellent pictures of various fire trucks, and their jobs/functions. I love the little velcro strap that "locks" the book shut!

The wheels are a big hit!

Just received this book today. My son is obsessed with fire trucks and the wheels are a big hit with him. I had also purchased 2 other fire truck board books which also arrived today but my boy loooves this one the most because of the wheels.

Fair representation of firefighters

I first saw a DK truck wheelie book in the hands of my nephew, and immediately knew I had to purchase this Fire Truck version for our little fire engine lover. The wheels provide an option for rolling the book along the table top or floor, while the thick pages provide interesting photos and information for toddlers to enjoy. The tab keeps the book closed, I just hope it continues to function after little fingers opening and closing it.

Cute book, but small!

Super cute book, realistic pictures. Only thing it was really small, smaller than I expected but the wheels actually turn and it stands up on it's own.

It's not a storybook

My 2yo enjoyed this until he ripped it to pieces. Not much of a storybook, just different emergency vehicles with descriptions of their equipment.

Cute!

Great idea for a vehicle book - to add tires! The photos are kind of "busy", but I imagine kids like that anyway. I think the wheels are unique and add an element that make them more fun for kids to play with. YES - the wheels really do spin so your little one can run them around on the carpet just like any other toy car. I do plan on buying more of these wheelie books based on this one.
