Way better then I thought it would be!

I was very pleased with this book. Carolina Isles was a disapointment. This one was a joy that I couldn't put down. The heroine was flawed, but strong. I totally got into the two men fighting over her and I could see way they would. The suspence about the murders and the house were intriguing and kept me on the edge of my seat. I did not figure this one out until it was over. Well worth my time.

Could have been better

I found the premise of the book to be rather intreging, but the actuall book left me with more questions than answers and left me confused.

I have read some of Jude Deveraux's other work and I was disappointed with this one. The mystery I felt was really interesting, but the conclusion left me puzzeled and I felt that it could have been written better. Also except for Eden the characters where not as fleshed out leaving questions about their past through to the end of the book and are never really concluded.

Weak Storyline

Unworthy of Jude Deveraux! This book can't hold a candle to her first books. Knight in Shining Armor is a delightful story - has Devereaux lost her touch??
