Great for little ones

We've had two copies of this book before; my boys wore out the first one and we had to replace it because they love it. I recently bought this one as a gift. There are a few different versions of this book so I was looking for one that was similar to our original. This one is not identical but it is similar. Very cute illustrations, nice story, quality flaps to lift, and a sturdy book for little hands!

Hit with the grandkids

Both my 2 1/2 yo grandson and 2 year old grandaughter love the Little People books with the flaps. I had gotten them the Halloween also. I did find that they were more expensive (+$3) than in a local food store after I purchased them. But regardless they were a hit and Amazon did a great job of shipping quickly and free.

Last page is an advent calendar

I wish it was advertised that the last page was an advent/countdown to Christmas. Had I known I might’ve waited to introduce this book to our toddler until she was older or have just skipped that page. She’s not quite two and there’s no way she was going to understand we could open every single flap in the book until the last page where she can only open one a day. We just opened them all at once and skip the text on that page.

Really cute, sturdy book

My 3 year old grandson loves this. I bought it as a replacement for the previous version of this book, that had become too well-loved and some of the flaps had torn. I slightly prefer the previous version, but it’s probably just because I’m more familiar with it. I was glad to see my grandson so delighted with this new one.
