Description

About the Author Jonathan Edwards (1703-1758) is by far the best known American theologian. After graduating from and teaching at Yale University, he began a very fruitful ministry at Northampton, MA. The church was the scene of the explosive revival of 1734, 35, and burned fiercely for God under Edwards for several years. Edwards then went to pastor the lowly Indians. But at last he was called to be the first president of Princeton University, where he served only 5 weeks, dying of smallpox.

Awesome Book

Spectular book!!! This is one of many lines I got out of the book...Jonathon Edwards says that, "Free moral agents (i.e. people using Free Will) Always act according to the strongest Inclination (i.e. Desires) they have at the moment of choice."

Good Heavy Reading

Great book, but not something you can read without intense concentration. It is very heavy reading. I wish that I had a mind that could think like Edwards, I am always amazed by how others think when I read philosophy like this.

Free Will at it's best

I, still, haven't finished this book but Jonathon Edwards is the go to person to learn about Free Will and all it's concepts.
