About the Author Harlan Coben is the internationally bestselling author of more than twenty previous novels, including the #1 New York Times bestsellers The Stranger, Missing You, Six Years, Stay Close, Live Wire, Caught, Long Lost, and Hold Tight, as well as the Myron Bolitar series and a series aimed at young adults featuring Myron’s nephew, Mickey Bolitar. Features & Highlights

  • Ten years after the high-profile kidnapping of two young boys, only one returns home in Harlan Coben’s next gripping thriller. A decade ago, kidnappers grabbed two boys from wealthy families and demanded ransom, then went silent. No trace of the boys ever surfaced. For ten years their families have been left with nothing but painful memories and a quiet desperation for the day that has finally, miraculously arrived: Myron Bolitar and his friend Win believe they have located one of the boys, now a teenager. Where has he been for ten years, and what does he know about the day, more than half a life ago, when he was taken? And most critically: What can he tell Myron and Win about the fate of his missing friend? Drawing on his singular talent, Harlan Coben delivers an explosive and deeply moving thriller about friendship, family, and the meaning of home.

Great Story, Great Author, Great Narrator

I haven't even finished this yet, but I love it and missed Myron and Win so much I had to say something. The mp3 is great. Steven Weber is a great narrator, and does voices and accents, both male and female (to my admittedly untrained ear) flawlessly. He is so good that he really adds to the enjoyment, which is not something that I say too often. The actual story line is great, and I can't wait to make my way all the way through it, though once I do, I am sure I will be sad it is done. Harlan Coben is a master storyteller, and he really has done another great job with this one.

So good to have Myron and Winn back!

Oh my, it's so good to have Myron and Winn back! They're such great characters; I love the book. One little issue with the audiobook: as much as I love the reader, it is difficult to tell whether it is Myron or Winn speaking; he does the same inflections and cadence for both people must of the time.

Gotta live the Bolitars! AND Win!

Audio folks, this reader/narrator. No question that, right off the bat, it is Win "talking." Story itself? OMGarsh!! Good, like, SO GOOD! Ema and Mickey are great additions to this book. Coupla fun twists at the end!!
