Inside Out

So far I have loved this Brown siblings series. I love how Lauren Dane keeps all the characters stories in all the books to really feel like you are reading about a family of siblings and friends. The love story between Ella & Cope was really good. However, it could have been 100 pages less. It was kinda boring because it kept repeating the same things over & over about their personalities. Their actual story falling in love was great but every page talking about their feelings was a little too much. could have been just as good without. I still am a fan of the series and will read Adrian's story next.

Ella Tipton has almost gotten her life back where she wants it. Her schooling is all but done and she has a great lead on a job she would love to have. After making mistakes in her personal life that almost killed her, Ella's goal is proving to herself that she is back in control of her life. The only bad thing about all this is, she will have to give up her job at the coffee shop and seeing her friends constantly, as well as seeing the one man who can turn her on like no other - Cope.

Andrew (Cope) Copeland is a modern renaissance man. Most people see him as a care free, easy going guy who works in security. But few people know all the parts that make up Cope. For years now he has wanted to see if Ella could be one of those people but the timing was never right. Now, finally, Cope believes Ella can handle the type of relationship he wants. He just has to make his move and hope Ella agrees with him.

Ella is shocked when she realizes that Cope wants more than just friendship. At first she is afraid of ruining what they have but Ella has wanted Cope for a long time, and she's swayed by both her feelings and Cope's determination. Their first date proves how strong the attraction is between them. There are lots of changes going on with Ella, Cope, and their friends right now - Ella's professional success, their relationship changing, a wedding, and a baby about to be born. Normal everyday events that make up a lifetime of joys and sorrows. However, as both Ella and Cope know, life isn't just the wonderful things. While they take the beginning steps into a lasting relationship, they both find that dealing with all the highs and lows together is so much better. Yet when it comes time to take that next important step, will both Ella and Cope be able to overcome the fear of the unknown?

A lasting love is within reach if Ella and Cope can just get past the fear. Inside Out has Ella and Cope testing the feelings they have hidden for each other for so long. I could see that Ella was scared to go forward and risking the friendship she found with Cope. I fell for Cope as I watched how much he cared for Ella, his friends, and family. Then, just like Ella, I saw the true inside of Cope and he was just irresistible. Ella's determination to overcome her past was so fulfilling to watch. Life isn't all light, fun, and airy and I was very happy to see that Ella and Cope faced both the good and bad together, and became stronger for it. Having a steamy passion every time they even thought of each other was great too. Inside Out is a great and passionate journey of a modern couple searching for their happy ending. This is one that will be a keeper for me and re-read often.
