Instant Gratification (Always Satisfied)

Another amazing Rom-com from the queen, Lauren Blakely. In Instant Gratification Lauren gives us the perfect Gentleman with Jason. Jason has a way with words, advice, and one hell of a sexy voice the only thing that could make him not a gentleman is Truly. Truly is everything that I love about Lauren's heroines she's strong, sexy, caring, independent, and has a way of making cocktails. Between flirtatious moments and 'pancakes' these two bring love, humor, and prove that with the right person.....the One you can be truly happy and do what you love.

Lauren has an amazing talent in giving us romance stories with similar tropes with characters so unique to their own story lines. Friends to Lovers is one of my all time favorite tropes and Lauren writes them to perfection. She gives us these wonderful characters from different stories, who we have gotten to know and love, and intertwines them in the lives of other characters and stories. I LOVE IT! I love seeing some of my favorite characters pop up in other stories giving us a glimpse of their present lives.

Truly and Jason's story was HOT! Their chemistry and flirtatious "friend zone" only relationship was hilarious yet passionate. Not only could everyone around them (friends, co-workers, strangers) feel their sexual tension and chemistry, but they saw firsthand what Truly and Jason were denying to themselves; love. This book was filled with many different characters, some from prior stories, some new ones, some we may get future stories about. We got to catch up with Nick and Harper; with Charlotte and Spencer; with Ryder and many others.

I was fortunate to receive an E-ARC of this book which I devoured in one sitting. I then listened to the audio book as soon as it was released. This e-book was absolutely amazing, but it did not compare to listening to the story come to life with the voices of Andi Arndt, Shane East, Zachary Webber, Jason Clarke, Joe Arden, Grace Grant, Sebastian York, Emma Wilder, and many others, including Lili Valente (who is another of my fave authors). The dialogue was captivating, engaging and easy to follow. I loved LOVED the singing, the back and forth banter; just everything about it. So much talent bringing this story to life.
I CANNOT wait for Josh and Haven's story.
