It’s good, but…

Books one and two were fantastic. From the gorgeous book covers and fantastic characters and plot i was excited. I loved them they kept me hooked and wanting more. I honestly read the whole series in less than a week. Book three just fell flat for me. Details that seemed of bigger importance just weren’t talked about. Characters were not given the depth they were in the first books. I don’t know if it’s because of time for writing or because she was trying to lead into a sequel but I had higher hopes. Five stars for the first two books. Two for the third.

A magical story with the right amount of romance! (Would recommend for ages 17+)

As we follow Emilia on a journey of discovering what happened to her twin sister we are met with demons, magic, and twists. I genuinely didn't see where this story went and enjoyed it!

This book definitely feels like it should be part of the New Adult genre rather than YA. I would recommend it for the age range 17+. It is a darker story and as you get into the story the spice is detailed.

Book Ratings:
Kingdom of the Wicked: 4
Kingdom of the Cursed: 4.5
Kingdom of the Feared: 5

The story was a bit slow for me personally to start but once it picked up i was hooked.

Physical books: My boxset arrived in good condition and I'm so happy to have them on my shelves!

Beware age rating needs to be upped

Brought books after they came up in a YA search for a teen daughter, first book was good and seemed pretty YA. Second book on-is more erotica. I have read many romance novels and this tends to sway more to erotica with a bit of plot.

Good not great, liked didn't love

Overall an all right trilogy. I enjoyed the story but wouldn't read it again. The first book started slow but picked up and ended up being very good. I felt like the second book was going to be so much more than it was, I felt like there was a lot of filler in the second book that was unnecessary. The third book was my favorite though I agree with some reviews that there could've been more to it. Honestly third and first books were the best the second book wasn't bad just a lot more filler than was necessary. Although I found that theme throughout the trilogy, it could just be the author's style. Overall not a great series but a good one, didn't love it but liked it. Read it for yourself though everyone's opinions are different, I know I couldn't believe people didn't like the third one in my opinion it was the best lol

Good story

The story was excellent and I loved the characters. I enjoyed her writing style immensely. Books 1 and 2 were phenomenal and I grew to love the characters and their quirks. Book three was just so rushed which the author acknowleged at the end section of her book. Overall this trilogy was enjoyable and easy to read.

One of my new favorite series

I’ve seen a lot of people say this series isn’t very cohesive but I want to tell you that’s not at all true, I love this series, granted the third one was a little smut heavy I still really enjoyed the series as a whole

Should not be young adult

Let me start with, I wouldn’t let my teenager read this. When I grew up XXX parts of the book were a “fade to black” style. This was pretty graphic in my opinion. More suited for the “New Adult” +18 age group. So parents be weary.
It was a filler read for me in between some emotionally trying series. I enjoyed it enough to read them all.
The main character is not the smartest in the way of seeing what’s directly in front of her. I wanted to yell at her, “Duhhhhhh!” Every time she discovers a new part of the mystery. Very predictable. I liked the romance between the main characters.
