Do NOT order!! No orange mini figure included!!

This does NOT contain the rare orange Classic Space figure. I ordered this months ago specifically for the mini figure. What a sham. Do not order this to obtain the mini figure. Sending back immediately.

Follow-up: I returned the first issue, and re-ordered the "paperback" edition. And strangely enough, the paperback edition was not paperback, but hardcover, and DID contain the mini figure. My 1 star review stands, however, as Amazon really dropped the ball on formatting the description with the actual product picked from the warehouse. The book itself is great. But ordering it and getting what you want is a horrible experience.

Does not include minifigure

I pre-ordered this month's ago. Somewhere along the way Amazon switched all the "Hardcover Edition" to "Hardcover - Library Edition". No minifig included. Don't order.

DO NOT BUY the "Library Edition"! No orange space man!

What a rip off! No exclusive orange space man minifigure! 😡

UPDATE: After 2 copies I was finally able to get a copy that included the minifigure. Thanks to another review I realized that they created a "Library Edition" that did not include the minifigure and Amazon changed all of the preorders to Library Editions. After returning the Library Edition I ordered the proper book with the minifigure (luckily for the same cost). Unfortunately over half of the pages in that copy looked like they got jammed in the pinter as they were all creased/crumpled and a few of them had poor color. In addition the book was covered in glue smudges on both the front and back covers. Luckily Amazon has excellent customer service and they were able send me a replacement book that was in better condition.

Misleading, no minifig included

I pre-ordered this as I collect Lego minifigs. The product description says it comes with one, but it didn't. I would have never spent $40 for this book otherwise.

(Library Edition) doesnt include Figure.Get the Paperback (Has the Figure, and is hardback)

The product description says exclusive minifigure only with the hardcover edition.....it doesnt. It looks like the paperback version includes it. Thanks for the letdown....now Im trying to explain to a 7 yr old why he didnt get one.

Edit: I returned the Library Edition, and ordered the Paperback edition which included the exclusive figure. Amazon saved the day. Even though the edition says Paperback...the book is actually a hardback. I also changed the 1 star review to 5.

No Minifigure

There was not a minifigure included with the book. I was really hoping to get the minifgure. Otherwise it’s a pretty decent book.

Not as described! Hardcover edition does not Include exclusive orange spaceman

DOES NOT INCLUDE EXCLUSIVE MINIFIGURE.

I pre-ordered the hard cover edition almost 4 months before it was released, ordering only because I was excited for the orange classic space minifigure. What I received is a high quality hardback book, which does not include the figure.

At the time of my order and this review, the listing clearly states that the figure is included with the hardcover edition.

Update: I purchased the "paperback" and can confirm that the issue is with Amazon's item selection. The "Hardcover" is a hardcover without the figure, and "Paperback" is the hardcover with the minifigure.

Excellent book and minifigure combination

This book has a lot of great minifigures to remember or discover, with excellent image quality and build quality of the hardback book. As you can see from my photo, about half the book is taken up by empty negative space to allow the orange spaceman to fit into the book. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. The only thing I would change is that I wish the book was even more extensive in how many minifigures it talked about. It's definitely more of a greatest hits than a full accounting.

Also, Amazon really needs to get its act together with this listing. Apparently some people accidentally got the library edition because the listing originally didn't specify it didn't come with the orange spaceman. I purchased the "paperback" because it was the only listing that said it came with the spaceman, yet I actually received a hardback containing the spaceman.

Orange Orange Orange!

DK books are the best, and this one is no exception. This one is particularly great because it comes with an orange classic spaceman, which I've been waiting for since the 1980s. Yes I'm old. But this is good for all ages. You need about a hundred like I have. That should be enough.
