Description

"A crackerjack of a crime novel." - Roger Pinckney, author of Blow the Man Down "Lowcountryxa0Punch is a wickedly fun suspense thriller that will tantalize you with the dramatic and action packed adventures of DEA agent T.A.xa0Reddick. This is a must read for anyone who loves a suspense thriller that throws one heck of a punch!" - Jersey Girl Book Reviews After picking the five-string banjo in Charleston and Nashville and then a few years toying with Wall Street, Boo chased a wine dream across the country to Red Mountain in eastern Washington with his dog, Tully Mars. They landed in a double-wide trailer on five acres of vines, where Boo grew out a handlebar mustache, bought a horse, and took a job working for the Hedges family, who taught him the art of farming and the old world philosophies of wine.Recently leaving Red Mountain, Boo and his family are back on the east coast in what's called the Portland of Florida, St. Pete. As he wraps up the second book of the Red Mountain series, he's got his eyes and ears open, building his next cast of characters. No doubt the Sunshine City will be host to the next few novels. The author of Lowcountry Punch, Off You Go, Turn or Burn, and Red Mountain, Boo's novels are instilled with the culture of the places he's lived, the characters he's encountered, and a passion for unexpected adventure.

will keep you reading long after you should have been asleep.

A very engrossing story that kept me reading late into the night to finish. Believable characters that grew and changed as their story unfolded. I am looking forward to more adventures from the inkpot of Boo.

Great book! Can’t wait to start my 4th Boo Walker book.

After reading Red Mountain then Red Mountain Rising, I thought I would read Boo’s first novel, Lowcountry Punch. It did not disappoint! Walker puts forward some really involved characters. His plots twist nicely. Good setting in Charleston and he did really well conveying the cultures.

Hooked from the first line:)

I was drawn into the location and story immediately. The writing tells us where we are and what is happening in such a way that I felt like I was along for the ride with my best buddy. I was a little bummed when it was over, I hope we see more from these characters in the future:) Well done.

Good start, lousy ending

It was terrific until everything had to be thrown in to the last few chapters. Then it got boring and predictable. Very disappointing!
