P. G. Greatness

Having read over 30 books by this master, Money For Nothing, written in the 1920's is a superb example of gentle farce, superb plotting and prose that cannot, and has never been, imitated. The crooks are as usual con artist with several schemes afoot, the lovesick hero rejected until the end, and assorted characters and intertwined friends all necessary components to weave the multiple storylines. Not a wasted paragraph in its pages. No wonder Rex Stout and Evelyn Waugh, two wonderful, but vastly different stylists, loved Wodehouse. So do I. So will you.
