National Geographic Kids Super Space Sticker Activity Book: Over 1,000 Stickers!

My kid is really into space. I thought this book would be a good distraction for a long (11+ hour) car ride. Boy, was I right! It was well worth the reasonable price. I'm probably going to buy a second. Each page is full of unique activities: mazes, stickers, trivia, puzzles. The sticker pages are perforated, making them easy to tear out. I went ahead and cut out each section and stuffed them between their designated pages before the trip.

I was really looking forward to this sticker book for my space-obsessed son, but we were both really disappointed with how bad the stickers were. They did not stick well to the pages at all, so many of them fell out as soon as he closed the book. We now have a ton of tiny stickers in random places in the house and van because they fell out of the book. I was really hoping it would be better since there are a ton of cute looking books from National Geographic, but we won't be ordering any more if they're all this bad.

This is an excellent activity book for any child that loves astronomy and is interested in the solar system. My 3 year-old loves space and has been obsessed with this book for the past 2 weeks. It has tons of sticker and even some of the moons of the some of other planets. Where else are you going to find Phobos, Deimos, and Titan stickers? Thinking of buying another!

This book can provide hours of entertainment with the stickers, mazes, coloring and other activities. I got it for my five year old to use solo while I feed his baby sister, but it was too hard for him to do on his own and he became very frustrated. I would say that this book is good for a 4-5 year old with an adult sitting right there or an older child solo. Pros are that there is space information to read on each page and it's clearly marked where the stickers should go. There are also extra, smaller stickers if your child likes to decorate on their own. The big reason I gave this four instead of five stars is that the sticker pages do not pull out easily--they are not even easy to cut out. Also, some of the stickers for the picture puzzles are not sized quite right and either leave a gap or overlap. Overall, though, it's lots of fun and I would buy again.

There are several of these sticker activity books. We have a few of them and the space one is the newest edition. My 5 year old loves them. There are plenty of things he can figure out and do by himself and for the most part doesn't need to do it with me. There are a few facts that are over his head but that are phrased in such a way he can easily ask questions. Which is wicked! Because it means that his brain is working and the book is making him have fun and learn while doing it.

I was amazed over the amount of activities this book provided. It's far better than any other activity I've seen for children. Plus, the kiddos (and parents) I gave them too loved them!

My 8 year old granddaughter loves these books. I bought the Super Space one because we are currently reading chapter books by Stephen and Lucy Hawking. My granddaughter spends hours working the mazes, coloring and learning about space in this book. I have bought other NG books as well and she also loves those. Her 4 year old sister is a bit young for them and needs help, but these activity books are also fine to just let them do as they please with the stickers etc.

Third grader is using this for his project. The stickers are poor quality and designs are not fitting. Quote from the 9 year old "Where would you find a polar bear in space?" These stickers don't match the theme and 950 of them are really not worth this book. On the positive side, he thinks the two year old sisters will enjoy this book.

I bought this incredibly fun sticker activity book for my 5 year old son to play with when we studied a space unit in our CC group. He adores it! We spend too much time in the car, and he's been kept busy with fun activities for hours. It's a touch silly in places, but has good information for space for the younger crowd. I'm looking for more of this series to buy!
