Level 1 (or even for review for levels 2 and 3 as a foreign language). Good way to review and learn by reading for Spanish as a foreign language classes or at home. Cool topic of interest for teens too. My high schooler son loves these short magazines because he can read and understand them easily. Each page only has a few sentences or two or three short paragraphs and lots of illustrations. Written in the present and some past tenses. The photos and illustrations, plus the cognates, help with understanding. They can figure out new vocabulary with the context. Some of these magazines include vocabulary explanations.
