  • BRAND-NEW JOB, SAME OLD DANGER
  • Lexi Carmichael is a reformed hacker who was gainfully employed by the National Security Agency. But she left government life for a fresh start with a new company—X-Corp Global Intelligence and Security—and an incredibly sexy boss, Finn Shaughnessy. It might not be kosher to have the hots for your boss, but he seems to have the hots for Lexi, too. Tough luck that things are about to get complicated…Darren Greening, a genius researcher from Flow Technologies—and X-Corp’s first client—is missing, and his bosses think Lexi’s involved. They aren’t the only ones—the man who nearly snapped Lexi’s neck in the parking garage thinks so, too. Now she’s caught in the middle of a complex and dangerous case. Lexi will need all her geek skills and a little help from her friends to solve the mystery of Darren’s disappearance before that large, terrifying assassin makes a return visit…

Geek women should be celebrated.

The plot lines are interesting. Use of humor, excellent. I enjoy how Lexi tries to overcome the many problems that are sent her way. Her social awkwardness while may seem extreme, does ring true with many of us at times placed in situations outside of our social comfort zones.

Great introduction to the Lexi Carmichael series

I really enjoyed No One to Trust! This was the first Lexi Carmichael book that I have read but it definitely won't be the last. It was a fun, lighthearted read that was full of twists and turns as Lexi and her new company search for a missing scientist that has the knowledge to truly change the world. I highly recommend this book.
