This book takes off on page 1 and does not let up

I am not going to give you a synopsis of the book. After all, Amazon has posted that very well. But I can tell you that the story grabs your attention and does not let go until the final page. Thank God, the author did not leave us hanging over the cliff at the Black Dolphin prison. I don't think my heart could have stood the shock.
There is great character development and you cannot figure out which way the plot is going to twist next. I can easily picture what Jack, Clarissa and Bear look like.
Yes, there are some editing concerns: some mis-spelled words, confusion of pronouns, extra the(s) that pop up and some problems with sentence structure. BUT there is nothing that could have drug my head out of the story.
We don't know a lot about Jack yet other then his recruitment from the Marines. But we know he was a sniper, he did some intelligence work after the Marines and he met Bear and Clarissa while he was a Marine. If you want to learn more about his past then read the two stand alone novels while you are waiting for the next episode or season to be published.
I have not read any of the Lee Child Jack Reacher novels yet so I cannot speak to the comparison that was made. I can only say I am a fan and cannot wait to dive into Season 2.

Jack Noble is better than Jason Bourne!

Loved the mean SOB that is Jack Noble. Loved the flow of the whole story and there wasn't a dull part in the story when I wanted to skip ahead. The whole story is well written with awesome merging of different lines and everything comes together for a neat climax leaving me wanting more that when it ended, I immediately went ahead and bought the next set of 6-10. If you love a fast paced action, then you should read this one. I have not come across many other books on Kindle that have this quality of writing and once you are done reading this, you will probably want to know more about the author and his other books!

Kill torture then kill some more

I made a mistake by not starting this series with the first book, but I'm not really sure which title the first one is. This particular book is odd in that it is Noble Intentions - Season One. But I find nothing referring to season two. And then the book is divided into episodes. I want to like this series but it seems like the author is trying his hardest to drive me away. I get it that these international thrillers are going to have violence, but it was too much to read about how some sadist was going to torture an innocent woman with a red hot ice pick. The fact that he didn't actually do it doesn't matter since he described in gruesome detail what he wanted to do. And then, at the end of the book, the woman is hooking up with said sadist to work with him. What is it with that? I received a couple more books for gifts so will read them but I'm not sure I can handle much more torture and gratuitious killing

Good story

Book # 4 in the Jack Noble series

This thriller is a collection of five episodes sort of standalone stories that are smoothly meshed into one volume. This series follows the story of Jack Noble, an assassin for hire who practices his art with a clean conscience and he does it for the money.

The main characters:

Jack is an awesome cold blooded killer: rather smart, somewhat funny and definitely you want him on your side but deep down he has a heart of gold. Bear is his best friend, this guy has a soft spot also although don’t step on his toes. Clarissa is the only one that can keep Jack and Bear straight and can keep up with them. Mandy plays a good part in this story also, she the little girl that the group took under their wings.

The setting:

As in many thrillers the story brings you to different countries, where you hear different languages and meet good people and a lot of bad ones.

The story in a few words:

My thoughts:

This is a fast-pace suspense full of nonstop action, a bit far-fetched but captivating if you not squeamish with all the killings you will surely have a hoot reading this book. The style is rough and saccadic but this didn’t bother me after all it is mainly a story of killers, don’t forget these guys don’t pussyfoot around. I love all characters even brutal ones can be likable. The author knows how to develop an exciting plot with well-drawn characters to pull us in from start to finish. I would say it is a gripping page-turner

Liking the Story. . Just Not Loving It

So far, I like it. I'm halfway thru the series and I'm enjoying the ride. I can't say that I'm crazy addicted over the stories as others, but I don't mind reading the book either. This is one of those I'll keep reading it to see where it goes, but I don't run for the Kindle every spare chance I get.

The book has lots of action and keeps you on your toes. The author does a very good job keeping you interested in what's going on and engaged with the characters. You find yourself caring about the characters and that typically is a good sign that you are into the series.

I honestly think its just my mood. I've had a hard time picking up a book lately and 100% losing myself into it. Maybe after another episode or two, I'll get there!
