Everybody loves a parade!
Well, everybody except Evan…
Evan, the county sheriff, knows that businesses are struggling in the small town of Clark Creek. But unlike the mayor—who happens to be his mother—he doesn’t think that hiring a “Christmas Consultant,” whatever that is, will help. Especially when this Christmas Consultant proposes a holiday parade that seems likely to overwhelm his staff and leave the town in even more debt. Mary is sure the parade is going to be a superb fundraiser. She’s going to make sure of it, overcoming every obstacle…including those put in place by the stubborn sheriff. But in the middle of her planning, the unexpected happens: she and Evan begin to see one another in a different light. Could the parade bring about more than one Christmas miracle? This funny, feel-good holiday romance is perfect for fans of Sheila Roberts, Susan Mallery, and Jenny Hale.

Who doesn't love a parade?!
On Christmas Avenue is a sweet, fun, entertaining story about a fundraising consultant, Mary, who proposes to hold a Christmas Parade to raise money for the cash-strapped town of Clear Creek. Evan, the town's sheriff, is told he is the liaison for the project, which he adamantly opposes and sees as a complete waste of what little money the town has left. What follows is an excellent story of problems and some miracle-like solutions that keep the parade project on track with a bit of romance thrown in! I enjoyed this Christmas romance by Ginny Baird and would like to thank the publisher, author, and NetGalley for providing me with an Advanced Reader Copy for review.

A relaxing Christmas read
New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Ginny Baird presents "On Christmas Avenue. A Christmas Romance from Hallmark Publishing"
Mary Ward works for Davenport Development Associates and is hired by Connie Clark, the mayor of Clark Creek (Virginia) to create a Christmas Fundraiser which she proposes in the form of a Christmas parade. Mary feels that she is going to love being in Clark Creek although she knows that she could get a promotion as Seattle program manager if she accomplishes this assignment successfully. It would be so simple if there would not be Evan Clark, the Clark County sheriff and son of the mayor and the issue with the T-shirts. Will Mary succeed with all her plans in spite of Evan or what will be the outcome?
This was the second book by Baird which I read. I highly can recommend the story for readers who want a funny, easy, and relaxing read with real, believable, and nice characters. I recommend it for readers who prefer a clean story. Furthermore, as other books by Hallmark Publishing, this book contains the recipe for Homemade Turkey Stuffing as an additional treat.
The complimentary copy of this book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley free of charge. I was under no obligation to offer a positive review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I absolutely loved everything about this book. Do you love Hallmark holiday movies? Do you love books? This is the perfect addition!
This one was a quick read for me, as I immediately fell in love with the characters and the small town that, once again, has me wishing I could live there too. Plenty of holiday activities are sprinkled in, and who doesn’t love a parade?

Christmas fun!
On Christmas Avenue is a Christmas novel about a struggling small town and two leads who will do what it takes to turn things around. Evan is the county sheriff of Clark Creek who knows all the ins and outs of the town's troubles, especially because is mother is the mayor. Enter Christmas consultant Mary, who is brought in to organize a large parade as a fundraiser for the town. Evan may not like the idea of the parade, but the two will have to work together to help save Clark Creek.
On Christmas Avenue is another sweet Hallmark Publishing novel set to publish just in time for the holiday season. I mean, where else would you find a book that involves a Christmas consultant? The small town setting of Clark Creek is great and really helps the reader get into the spirit of the story. I liked both main characters and enjoyed reading how Evan and Mary's relationship progressed as the parade drew closer. The story is the right length and the reader will be happy throughout the book. On Christmas Avenue has plenty of small town cheer to go around and will be enjoyed by romance novel and Hallmark movie enthusiasts.
Thanks to Netgalley and Hallmark Publishing for this ARC; this is my honest and voluntary review.

fun christmas romance
It should not come as a surprise that I’m a big fan of Hallmark Christmas movies and that is what drew me to this book. This was my first Hallmark Publishing book that I have read so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I really wanted it to give me the same feelings that I get from watching the movies and I was not disappointed. This book definitely delivered on the warm and cozy holiday vibes which is exactly what I needed! I actually really enjoyed this type of story in book format, you get more insight into the characters and the story. And the main characters...loved them! Sometimes in a romance I there’s one character I like a little less than the other but not the case here. Evan is the town sheriff and was great as a romantic interest. Mary is the Christmas consultant that he has to work with and I found her great too. The plot of the story was actually really engaging too. It wasn’t all romantic Christmas fluff, I actually found myself really interested in what would happen with the town and the parade and how it would all work out. So, overall if you are looking for a Christmas romance then I would definitely recommend picking this one up. I look forward to picking up more Hallmark books and looking into the authors other books.

Great Book
On Christmas Avenue by Ginny Baird is a wonderful feel-good contemporary Christmas romance that left me cheerful and uplifted. I really liked it.
I love myself some Hallmark romance, especially if it is holiday-themed or seasonal. This fits the bill. It is light, romantic, festive, optimistic, and really put me in the holiday spirit. I loved visiting the quaint town of Clark Creek, Virginia. I enjoyed meeting the town inhabitants and see the wonderful transformation that took place.
I also enjoyed Mary and Evan. She is the yin to his yang, it just took them both a bit to figure that out. I liked how Evan finally let down his guard and joined the Mary fan club. She brought light, hope, and festive cheer to the town when it needed it most. Mary also didn’t realize how much she actually needed the town as well.
A great romance with a great ending as always!

Very Hallmark
This book is truly sunshine and Mr. grump so if you are into that type of thing you might like this book.
See we have Mary who has been hired by the town of Clark Creek to find a way to get the city out of debt and make it prosper all before Christmas. How is Mary going to do that? By finding some way to spread some Christmas Cheer! As Christmas is her favorite time of year she is perfect for the job and comes up with a parade plan to bring people to Clark Creek from near by cities.
Then we have Evan who is the town Sherrif and is a bit anti-Christmas it seems. He doesn't think hiring Mary is a good idea and that it will just cause Clark Creek to go even more into debt. This is understandable, but as these two work together to try and make the parade happen. Mr grump might turn that frown upside down due to Ms.Sunshine.
Overall this book was very sweet. Mary did everything she could and thought of literally almost every possible scenario that could make things go wrong. Did I see the problem happening that caused Mary a lot of tension, yes, yes I did because those type of things just seem to happen in movies, especially Hallmark movies. But that's okay because it was a different type of tension that it made and it made Mary and Evan get creative with how to solve the problem. The entire town and surrounding areas were so nice and really help spread the holiday cheer. Mary just might pull off her impossible task in time.
