Great series ok volume

I enjoyed the first book and was very excited to read this one. The writing and imagery was amazing. It did however read slow for me in the beginning. I found myself having to fight through the story to get through it. I can see the research that Cameron had to do for this story and those details are my favorite part of her story. The world Cameron created has so much back story, but in this book I think too much of it was being revealed all at once and I found myself overwhelmed. The investment I made in these characters in the first book is what helped me get through this one. Of course I will continue to read this series and look forward to where Cameron takes us next.

Zoe's story continues...

After opening Pandora’s Box in Dana Cameron’s first Fangborn novel, SEVEN KINDS OF HELL, archeologist Zoe Miller is desperate to understand more about her powers and the Fangborn themselves. Unfortunately Zoe’s quest is hampered by a politician who wants to reveal the Fangborn to the world, and a secret society who wants to destroy them. A strong, resourceful heroine and a great action-filled story will keep this reader coming back for more!

Great Read!!!

I didn't think that anything could top "Seven Kinds of Hell," the first book in this series but "Pack of Strays" is wonderful! It might be better - but that's a tough call. What a cliff hanger! I can't wait for the third book in the series to see how everything is resolved but part of me is hoping for a fourth book and a fifth and... Its that good - I don't want it to end!
