I'll be honest, I didn't clearly read the description, so I'm not knocking too many stars off as that was my fault, but I was looking for an actual book to read my kids on their first day, and this is a book full of poems. I thought the book was a little disorganized and it wasn’t related to getting ready for or the start of second grade. It was a synopsis of the entire year. Just not what I expected, as I was looking for a book to read to my twins the night before their first day.
