Semi-Psychic Life: A Paranormal Women's Fiction Novel (Glimmer Lake)

Semi Psychic Life is book two in The Glimmer Lake series and it is awesome! The series is about a group of three best friends and how they navigate normal life as well as life after an accident that left them with abilities, this is Val's story. Val is a firecracker, the"cool" mom. She has two wonderful boys and a not so wonderful ex husband. Due to her ex husband's escapades, Val frequently has to clean up his messes and mend the hurt feelings of her boys. She has had enough until something happens that she can't ignore. Val and her friends embark on a quest to get the truth using their newfound abilities, in addition to Val considering the possibility of new love.
I loved this book and this series! The writing pulls you in immediately and keeps your interest until the last page. The plot is fun, interesting, and a wonderful twist on real, everyday life. The characters are awesome and completely relatable. I loved everything about this book! You will not regret reading this book or series and if you're new to Elizabeth Hunter, I guarantee after reading any of her work she will become an automatic one click author for you. I was given the opportunity to read a copy of this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and was totally engrossed from start to finish. The writing was expertly done, because it was written by a storyteller who weaves words together so well, you feel like an unwritten character in the book.

This is Val's story, and it's filled with best friends, a possible new beau, family, a coffee shop (apparently with 'to die for' bear claws), oh! and a really good mystery. A mystery that will keep you intrigued and turning the page, and make you forget you actually have a life outside of the book.

The dialogue is engaging, the characters are real, the Glimmer Lake community believable, and the power of friendship. I thought the first book was good, this one is even better. I can't wait for Monica's book... West is looking like he may have a larger part in her book....

Semi-Psychic Life by Elizabeth Hunter is book two in her Glimmer Lake Series. Every book is about another couple and can easily be read as a stand-alone. For best reading experience I recommend to read the books in order. The previous book is Suddenly Psychic and my favorite read in this series so far.
SPL is Robin and Sully's book. Val is best friends with Robin and Monica, all three of them developed psychic powers after a car accident.
While Robin is settled in her new life, Val is the one who struggles. She is a divorced mother of two boys, owner of a coffee shop and busy, busy, busy. When her ex vanishes, she's the only one who's looking for him. Together with her friends she's on a goose trail to find Josh. And then there's sheriff Sully. The man who loves her with every fiber of his heart. Only he always plays the second fiddle in Val's life. I started reading and the whole time I was waiting for Sully to become a mani character - but he didn't. It's like he's a sidekick only. The storyline prefers Val and her hunt for her no.good ex-husband. Don't get me wrong. I liked the story and I adored the friendship between the three women, I was just missing S's presence. All in all, a great read, 4,25 Stars.

Oh, I love Val. A punk rock mom with 2 sweet boys, she's fiesty, unapologetic, and has the biggest heart. Val, Robin, and Monica are friendship goals and the mystery they have to solve this time around is immediate, original, and so important. As the clues unravel, the characters show more and more of their characters, and I loved every single thing I saw. Sheriff Sully is a huge help and so thoughtful and kind. With a resounding theme of family above all, the second Glimmer Lake book did not disappoint!

After their inadvertent plunge into Glimmer Lake, the three women in the car ended up with a psychic power. Valerie’s is psychometry. She gets visions from touching objects. When Val’s ex-husband goes missing and her boys are scared because the police have a warrant out to arrest her ex, Val, Robin and Monica use their new skills to help investigate.

The three women psychics are amazing friends that are supportive and amusing together. Unquestioning loyalty and extended family plus life that goes a little wonky makes this mystery more of an romping adventure than expected. I loved the women’s knowing when to snoop and when to back off each other as well as the dynamic relationships of each sub group. Yes, there is a bit of danger. No, there isn’t much of a romance but potential for one. Yes, teens can be obnoxious and loving. Yes, friendships can support and be helpful.
I loved this adventure and can’t wait to read more by this author.

Such a fun story. I was into it from beginning to end. I truly enjoy this series. The characters are fun and relatable.

I don't normally read fiction but I received an advertisement and it sounded like something I might like so I ordered the Glimmer Lake series. So glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 books. I now have another of her series on my wish list.

This was a book that I didn’t want to put down. Strong characters and an interesting storyline.
