Great concept, dated presentation

I had been wanting to read this book for a number of years and was eager to start. I was disappointed, this book seemed dated, parochial and of some old world order of white middle class men. I like the concept of servant leadership, however, for me it seemed somehow based on a domination model (even though the concept was servant leadership) it did not capture the nuances of respect, mutuality or inclusion in a world of crowd sourcing and desire for equality and mutual respect.

Timely reminder that the best leaders are servants

Although some of the examples are a bit dated, the core of this work is timeless.
