Great for a read, not for collecting

The first three books (Quest for the golden apple, Revenge of the zombie monks, The Ender eye prophecy) in this series, my kids love them! Definitely hooked. Like others mentioned, the binding isn't great for the size of the book. Made it through one reading but now it's coming apart. Not great for a collector who rereads books again and again.

Horrible binding! Great graphic novel otherwise.

My son loves this book and the next book in this series, but the binding is AWFUL!!!! Luckily, I’m a book binder, so I’m repairing the book myself, but not every kid is as lucky to have this kind of crafty mom. Seriously though, I’ve never seen a more poorly bound book. Our book fell apart after a week or two of reading and re-reading it, but the second book in the series broke after just one day.
I’m still giving it 4 stars because my son loves this series so much. (I gave the secnd book 3 stars because it fell apart faster than this one.) I hope the third book is bound better than the first two!!!!

Kid enjoyed but overpriced

We gave this to a friend for his 8th birthday, and the reports are that he really likes it. He's super into both Minecraft and graphic novels, so it makes sense that this would be right up his alley. I'm giving it four stars because I think it should be priced a few dollars lower...more like $14 or $15. Also, the book was dinged on the spine and the edge of the cover was bent a bit (not cool for a new book), and the graphics were dark and, in my opinion, unpleasant (but they are classically Minecraft-y).

Poor quality book

My son enjoys the content but the book is very poorly made and after only 2 1/2 months, the binding is shot. I do not recommend purchasing this item due to this. Don't waste your money.

Great book but lacking quality

As others have said, this book fell apart after reading it the first time. My son loves this book and reads it over and over again and the pages are all falling out. Wish the quality was better however for the price it is good.

Great for reluctant readers!

This was a great book for my dyslexic, minecraft-loving son! The graphic novel style was great and he loved how big this book is - lots of material to pour over.

Great book, terrible binding

As others have stated, the binding is terrible and the book started falling apart a day after getting it. I anticipated that thanks to other reviews so prepped the kids for it. They LOVE the stories though.

Book Came Apart First Day

I got this for my 8 year old grandson. The first day he had it, the binding came off.

Book is falling apart

Book is fine, my son likes it, but it must not be put together very well, it’s falling apart after him reading it just once.
