Best Book to Use

I have used many diet books through the years but none have compared to the Calorie King Calorie, Fat & Carbohydrate Counter 2007. This is like having an Encyclopedia in your hand on all foods. No guess work - it is all there for you to read at your fingertips. Just keep in your purse as it even has about fast food restaurants if you are out and about. Just love it - what more can I say? Excellent reference

This is an excellent reference guide, not only for those of us who try to watch our weight, but especially for those afflicted with diabetes and other diet related medical conditions. Ir is a must for diabetics, particularly those with Type 1 diabetes.

Best Book (tool) Ever, You Have to Have This Book!

This is the best little book. It is simple to use, easy to read and has the most information packed in between its covers. Includes fats, carbs, calories and proteins. Great for a diabetic and awesome for those of us who want to be aware of what they are eating! Color coded, easy to read pages, indexed very well! Also includes most popular restaurants so that you can actually see what you are about to eat. I buy a new one for every person I meet that is diabetic or who is about to embark on a diet. So much information in so little space! You have to have this book in your home!! You will LOVE it!

Great pocket sized book

I love that the book is pocket sized so you can have it with you all the time. You never know when you might get in a pinch and have to go somewhere at the last minute (luncheons, etc). With the extensive dining out and fast food counts, you could really save yourself some diet heartache by knowing what's going into your mouth. Better safe than sorry. The book also has good info on nutrition and weight loss tips, as well as the standard food counts. Good stuff.

Compact and easy to use

We had the 2002 version of this little book and thought it was time to upgrade, especially for the fast food section. My son has type 1 diabetes, so we use this book exclusively for carb counts. It small and fits in my purse or glove box. Food is easy to find. The new (2007) version has an updated fast food section.

Calorie King Reference Book

A pocket-sized reference book for calorie, fat and carbohydrate counts of many foods, brands and restaurants. The only thing that would make this guide better is a fiber column, but we use it constantly. It's an eye-opening look at what you are REALLY eating.

Fun if you're interested in nutrition

This book has nutrition information for all those prepackaged foods you bring home from the store as well as the fast food you eat in your car going to and from work. I bought it for someone who doesn't need to diet just because she loves to know what's in the food she eats. Besides being helpful if you're dieting or trying to eat more healthy foods, it's just fun to browse through and see what you've been eating really contains.
