My Review:

Melody Carlson does it again with this Christmas quick read. With just under 200 pages, she is able to tell a very sweet story about a guy named Garrison who has to sort out his grandmothers belongings just weeks before Christmas. His grandmother left behind a few feline friends that he must find homes for, and he decides that is simple enough only to find out his grandmother left specific instructions for their disbursement.This is a very heart warming story that shows us that a genuine hope is not lost. The story brought tears to my eyes of pure joy as this woman long after her death was still a blessing to this world.

The author of The Christmas Cat, is an award winning author and rightfully so. She can spin out the most beloved books. Her books are very cozy types of reads and this one is just perfect for this time of year. I love Melody Carlson and you will find many different types of genres in her repertoire. Let me first say that I absolutely love the cover. I'm a big animal lover. Unfortunatly, that's where the love stops. For me, the book, as well as the characters, was flat. The story line did pick up toward the end, but not by much. I honestly felt like I was reading a young adult book. Maybe it's just me.

Melody Carson has done it again! She has written another marvelous Christmas story to get our holiday season underway. How and why would you put together a passle of stray cats and an highly allergic young man? Melanie unfolds a story that links all the characters, including the cats. By the end of this story, readers will be reminded of the way that God weaves together beautiful tapestries of our lives, if we let Him.

This is a cute Christmas story that can be read quite quickly. If you love cats or Christmas, or like me both, you should like this book.

Garrison hopes to get the deed done quickly but his grandmother has left very specific instructions for him that will take a bit of time. She has given him very specific instructions surrounding her beloved pets. Garrison’s job is now to match the cats with the right owners without letting them know that his Grandmother actually left a good size chunk of change to those who rehome her babies. Along the way he meets a whole cast of characters that change his mind about a lot of things.
This was cute. It’s nice and short so if you just want a quick Christmas read that will bring a smile to your face this may be just the book for you.

A friend loaned this book to me. I loved it so much that purchased my own copy, plus one for a friend, also an animal lover.

Good book for my grandaughter

I absolutely love Melody Carlson books and this one does not disappoint. It is set in the holiday season when Garrison comes home from a missionary trip. His grandmother has died and he needs to finalize her wishes. That includes perfect placement of her cats. She has a few requirements that they have to meet and those requirements create stress for Garrison. Does he find the placements that she wants? It leads to a humorous, lovable and enjoyable book you will not want to put down.
