My idea of a well written mystery.

I'm usually into cozies, ghost stories, book store backdrops and seriously had my doubts about the gumshoe angle of this novel. Boy was I in for a surprise. What a fun book. I even enjoyed the gumshoe. And the pacing and flow. What a great read.

How Ms. Kimberly manages to blend cozy, with ghost story and gumshoe and have characters with assorted ages and stations in life is beyond me but she does it and does so flawlessly.

IMHO What a treat! I am def. reading her other books and so are the members of my reading group. We all love her books!

Stereotypes abound

This story is good, the writing isn't too bad, but the main character is a dependent door mat who doesn't appear to be able to think with out a man present, even a dead one! Reading it made me want to start singing Melancholy Baby.
