  • September is a girl who longs for adventure. When she is invited to Fairyland by a Green Wind and a Leopard, well, of course she accepts. (Mightn’t you?) But Fairyland is in turmoil, and it will take one twelve-year-old girl, a book-loving dragon, and a strange and almost human boy named Saturday to vanquish an evil Marquess and restore order.

For Audio Version - Why Authors should NOT do the Audio Book

The story would get 4 stars on its own, but I am reviewing the audio version and it barely gets 2 stars (for the story). The Author reads her own work on the audio version, and it is a prime example why Authors should not do this! She is a good Author, but a boring reader. She droned on in such a nasaly, monotone voice that she made her own fun story dull and lifeless! If you are a fan of audio books do yourself a favor and avoid this one. The story needs a fun lively reader like Katherine Kellgren to make it sparkle. Instead, the Author killed her own work! It felt like she even put herself to sleep a number of times.
