Sweet fantasy romance with plenty of world-building!

I’d recommend this one if you want a shorter sweet fantasy romance with lots of world-building and a happily ever after!

-Eccentric bachelor lord (seems too nice and is definitely hiding a darker side)

TW: sexual assault (not graphic but is there briefly)

Rosalie and Baine are the main characters and I thought their love story was really sweet and I liked the two of them together. Wished the story was a bit longer so we could have more time with them together!

Pacing is a little fast but writing style is easy to follow and I enjoyed the comraderie between the girls. Some of the fighting scenes were a little confusing but I think there was just a lot going on!
The ending was also a little rushed for me but it is a shorter book so that makes sense.

Rosalie is a strong character and does not take shit from anyone. She has strong loyalties to her family and to her home and will do anything to get back there and save her town. Baine is stubborn and extremely loyal, but he definitely has a soft spot for Rosalie and gets very protective!
