Nancy holds an MFA in creative writing from Hamline University, St. Paul. She lives in the Twin Cities with her husband and two teenage children.Trisha Speed Shaskan was born and raised in Winona, Minnesota, where she waterskied on the Mississippi River, played basketball, and skateboarded. She has written more than forty books for children and taught creative writing to children and teens. Trisha received a 2012 Minnesota State Artist’s Initiative Grant. She won the 2009 McKnight Artist Fellowship for Writers, Loft Award in Children’s Literature/Older Children. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Stephen Shaskan, who is a children’s book author and illustrator.Tatevik Avakyan has illustrated many individual books and series titles for children and tweens which, as it turns out, are her absolute favorite subjects! She always loved drawing as a child and knew she wanted to be an illustrator as early as her teens.xa0xa0 She later earned her degree from California State University of Northridge.xa0xa0 Tatevik currently lives and works in Southern California with her husband and son.xa0xa0 In addition to making fun, whimsical characters come to life, Tatevik likes to read and travel with her family.Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1975, Cristian Bernardini is a graphic designer and a graduate of the University of Buenos Aires. Currently Cristian does design work and illustration for various studios and publishers, as well as developments in the field of animation for both television media and media in general.
