I looked forward to reading this book and was surprised to be so disappointed. Told from three different POV and two different time periods, it creeps along at a snails pace to finally reach a meh conclusion.

It was fast moving and kept me interested until the last few chapters. There was a lot of unbelievable story lines towards the end and it was disappointing.

If you like your thrillers super-fast paced, then brace yourself for a speedy one as Alex, an overnight influencer sensation, makes a terrible mistake online and gets blasted by her followers, cancelling her with lightning speed.

Alex is a former stay-at-home mom whose motivational messages resonated with her audience and turned her into an instant social media darling. When she needed an assistant to manage her posts, AC became her go-to gal. Alex gave her full access to her personal files, home, she was practically a member of the family. When a cringey post goes viral making Alex look like the opposite of what she preaches, she turns to AC to fix it, but she is nowhere to be found. This twisty tale will have you guessing as fast as you’re reading. And it's written by the you-can-count-on queen of suspense. Need I say more? I didn't think so.

Dear Wife was my first Kimberly Belle book. It was REALLY good! It is also the one I judge all of her others on. While her others are definitely good, that one was always still the best. Until this one! The Personal Assistant is a super-close second! I loved Alex, Patrick and the girls. I had no clue what was going on until it all came together at the end. Enjoyed every word of this page-turner and cannot recommend it enough! Looking forward to more!!

This book was just ok for me, not great. I had a hard time connecting to any of the characters and never found myself really rooting for anyone. I finished it because I wanted to see how it ended, but honestly, I could have put it down and not thought twice about it.

I spent this entire book not knowing who to believe. I kept swapping characters I was routing for and those I hated. This book is a twisted web of darkness and I loved every page. I am going to reread this story to see how much I missed the first time.

HIGHLY recommend this book, it will be a favorite!

I struggled with this one. I didn't care for the characters or language. The social media situation was, unfortunately, realistic. I did enjoy the multiple points of view, but the pace was a bit too slow for what I'm used to in this genre. the ending was a bit too unbelievable, and there were some plot points that were left with gaping holes.

A decent story even though it seemed never ending. There were a lot of unbelievable events and not very likeable or relatable characters. It was worth the read.

Well written and kept me in suspense. I was not able to guess how it would end…plot twist right at the end made this book very entertaining. Will look for other Kimberly Belle books to read.
