Enjoyed

The Picture of Dorian Grey was surprisingly good. At the beginning, I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy due his immature and whiny behavior but it turned out to be a fairly enjoyable read although I never did develop a liking for any of the main characters. Having said that, overall the plot was very good.

Books in bad condition

Ordered an original book that came scuffed up and damaged even though packaging looked great, returned it for a replacement and the replacement came in worse condition with large chunks scraped out, scratches, ink bleeding and lots of scuffs even though packaging was perfect.

Dirty Edges

The edges are dirty, probably from the packaging process. The pages inside are clean though. Thankfully, I like books that look or are worn, but be wary that it may come dirty.

Fav Oscar Wilde story.

Dorian Gray has been portrayed in movies like 'The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen' and most recently on the Showtime series Penny Dreadful, but this is his original story. Here you'll find out who painted his portrait & how he came to be the man he is.

For the Word Cloud version: I really like these word cloud style books; the words are imprinted into moleskin (the cotton based stuff -not actual moles), giving it a beautiful, classic look & interesting texture.

Great story, book was in iffy condition

This edition of The Picture of Dorian Gray looked amazing. However, the condition that I got it in was a little bit less than satisfactory: it was obvious that the cover itself gets dirty pretty easy because of its material. Overall, I liked my purchase.
