The Time Hunters by Carl Ashmore A great series for kids!

I have read the first 3 books of "The Time Hunters" series by Carl Ashmore. I like to scout out books for my grandchidren, and this series is excellent! They are exciting, imaginative, and kept me reading to see what came next. All time travel is to the past and the characters and artifacts they encounter are fascinating. Some we think are mythical turn out to be real. For children ages 12 and up, these books are a great choice!

He now wants the next in the series

I did not read this. It was a gift for my 10 year old grandson. He is now eager to read the rest of the series.

Highly recommend

Brought the first 3 in the series for my 8yr old Niece as Christmas gifts, she has finished the first one already (just a little help from mum on a couple of words) and is completely taken with the series, she loves the adventures and characters and has made me promise to buy her the rest of them. So please keep writing them. She is above average for her reading age, pushes her a little which is good. Recommend for this children in this age range to read themselves or great stories for you to read to them and get their imagination going.

Great Historical/Fantasy Fiction

I'm 51 years-old and I love Carl Ashmore's books. This third book in the Time Hunters series is as great as the two preceding ones. Although I'm reading the series with my daughter, I'd definitely read them on my own even if she weren't interested (but she is - she loves them). Since the next on the series isn't released yet, we're reading Bernard And The Bubble - another of Carl Ashmore's books. Clearly, Carl is a very talented writer and Bernard And The Bubble is just another example.
