Description

Evil never dies. . . . After escaping the horrors of the Dark Dimension, Elena can't wait to attend Dalcrest College, the beautiful ivy-covered campus where her parents met. Life with Stefan is better than ever, and even Damon seems genuinely changed and is getting along with everyone. But moving away from Fell's Church doesn't mean she and her friends are free from danger. When students start to disappear from campus, every new acquaintance is suddenly a potential enemy. Then Elena uncovers a long-hidden secret, one that shocks her to the core, and realizes tragedy may be unavoidable. Will Elena outrun her fate? And will it be Stefan or Damon who catches her if she falls? L. J. Smith has written over two dozen books for young adults, including The Vampire Diaries , now a hit TV show. She has also written the bestselling Night World series and The Forbidden Game, as well as the #1 New York Times bestselling Dark Visions. She loves to walk the trails and beaches in Point Reyes, California, daydreaming about her latest book.

I love Damon! Even before the show when they put a face on him I loved him! Of course I'm a sucker for bad boys lol! In this book they all head for college, all deciding to go to the same one to stay together and protect each other even though Matt and Meredith would have liked to go somewhere else. And it's a good thing they all ended up at the same one because, once again, trouble follows them! Murders and disappearances on the campus that they cannot ignore. A mysterious fraternity, werewolves, the whole nine yards! But of course they have it all under control...or do they? Bonnie even falls in love, but is he a good guy or a bad guy? And, of course the love triangle between Elena, Damon, and Stephan continues. Once again a very good Vampire Diaries book. However I do hope that Smith doesn't continue this series just because of the popularity of it or because of the show. It's getting easier and easier to figure out the ending with each new book:( I really enjoy them but don't ruin a good series by continuing it just because you feel you have to to the point of ruining it and what makes it special!

Still waiting...

This was ordered the end of November was told it shipped on December 2 with no tracking (which is a bad practice) and a delivery date of Dec. 6 --- Dec. 23...today is December 19 and still no book. I understand this is before the last listed day given but even from across the country it shouldn't take that long. I have ordered many things and shipped many things and even cross country it is there within a week. I am not a fan of NO tracking on any package and these long delivery date spreads...not pleased.
