The Widow's Keeper (The Second Wife Series Book 2)

I just finished and I am unsure of what to say. It is a great story. But seriously, how much drama, trauma and angst is one women supposed to handle! In the first book, she was kidnapped, raped and tortured for 2 years. She was constantly manipulated and threatened with the possible murder of her husband if she misbehaved or tried to escape. So, I was really surprised that right at the beginning of this book, we find out that Ally is a widow, that David has possibly been murdered, but no one believes her. They think it is odd the way he died, but don't think it was murder. Ally is in a spiral of depression, guilt at being alive, and riddled with nightmares about her kidnapping. She is frustrated that no one in her family or the government will listen yo her or believe her. David is gone for 4 months when Eddie shows up to tell her that she is in danger. Her family thinks she is having a breakdown and should go to a hospital in Germany. Eddie tells her that is the only safe place for her. An agent escorts her on her flight to Germany, but once in Germany, it happens again. The same man who kidnapped her the first time, is in Germany and orchestrates a series of accidents and incidents that cause her to be kidnapped again. This is where the book made me a little angry Sayeed's brother, Shariff is behind this kidnapping. Sheriff and the rest of his family believe that Ally/Sarah is a terrible, manipulative woman. They really don't see how Sayeed was wrong. There is a lot of drama, angst and emotion in this book. From her remonicing about David yo her nightmares and panic attacks about Sayeed, there is plenty to cry about. I did a lot of crying throughout this book and especially at the end. The end will rip your heart out. Makes me wonder if there will be another book. I really like Eddie and could see them together.

Nothing short of amazing….The story that Kishan Paul has crafted in The Second Wife and now The Widow’s Keeper is hands down becoming a cult classic in my opinion. The Widow’s Keeper seamlessly melds the two stories together and picks up after The Second Wife ends. (This is a not so subtle hint that you should read The Second Wife first!) There aren’t enough words to express my extreme love for this book. I was thrilled to find out that the author decided to write a continuation to the first book and what a fabulous continuation this was. This is a stay up all night, finishing in one sitting type of read. It was THAT GOOD. Kishan Paul shredded me with her words and her intricately woven characters and storyline. Just to give fair warning, there are some dark and twisty parts, however, first and foremost this is a story of incredible strength, love and empowerment- in all different shapes and sizes. RUN do NOT WALK to pick up this fabulous read. I was honored to receive an ARC of this book. This review is solely my opinion.

You know how when many authors (for sure not all, but many) write an amazing 1st book in a series and then the following books, if there are any, seem to be lacking something. As readers, we can't always put our fingers on it, but we desperately desire for following novels to measure up to the one that hooked us in the first place. It makes me feel so good to say, Kishan lived up to the hype! What an AWESOME sequel to The Second Wife! Are you kidding me?
This author is just a master of suspense, seriously, a master. I love her writing style, how engrossed she gets you from chapter one, how quickly she develops her characters and sucks you in.
This is worth the read, hands down! Read it, read it, read it! I know you will agree and be glad you did.

The Widow's Keeper is the second story of Ally and David's, not to mention so many other's. As you are reading this story is sucks you in just as The First Wife does. Ally is still trying to find herself again when hell decided​ to freeze over in more ways than you can even possibly fathom.

Again Kishan Paul puts everything into perspective how in a blink of an eye you can be happy one moment and destroyed and fighting for your life in the next. This story is raw, full of emotion and how many of these events are or could be happening today. Amazing is just not enough to say about this book!!!!!

I read this book straight through!!! I don't remember crying so hard in any other that I have read and being as concerned for other characters as much as I was for Ally and the people she loved! After she is finding her life again after her kidnapping and rescue Ally's husband is killed sending her spiraling into the darkness of the life he rescued her from! Now she has to face the brother of the man she killed and find a way to keep other innocent people alive and get them to freedom while trying to save herself!

For anyone who read The Second Wife, this is a must read. This tells the story of what happened after Ally was rescued and reunited with her husband and family. Plenty of drama and suspense, as Ally tries to move forward with her life only to have the past continue to haunt her. It's a terrific follow-up novel.

The Widow's Keeper is the second book in this series and it's just as consuming as the first. Heartbreaking developments from the start had me wondering whether or not I could go on, but like our h I persevered.

Kidnapped again, although less brutally treated, Ally finds herself again as someone else's pawn in their end game. How much can one person endure? Fortunately this time, she isn't alone.

One nasty thread remains, which leads us to the conclusion in The Deadly Match and I can't wait to dive in!

What a great author. Surely is a page turner. Kishan keeps you on the edge of your seat Can’t wait to read the next book

Still have no idea where this saga ends .........interest at this point is hard to maintain.
Most of the action is pointless and characters are somewhat confusing to try and identify
Way too much nonessential detail......
