There Is More!: The Secret to Experiencing God's Power to Change Your Life
Paperback – January 15, 2013
Description
This book contains my most important life's message.xa0 When I was 18, a freshman in a Baptist college, I heard the Lord speak to me on the first day of class, "The issue of your lifetime will be the Holy Spirit."xa0 This was an unusual word to receive for a young Baptist minister.xa0 Many years later, the first two times I first met John Wimber, both times he heard the audible word of the Lord say regarding me, "He will onexa0 day go around the world laying hands upon pastors and leaders releasing gifts and impartations to them."xa0 Ten years later this season of my life would begin. The word I heard the first day of college definitely hasxa0 become true of my life.xa0 I wanted thexa0 message of the book to be biblical, historically illluminating, and inspiring due to the present day stories of impartation recorded in it.xa0 The biblical portion is to lay out the biblical foundation for the teaching regarding impartation.xa0 The historical portion reveals impartation is not a new teaching, but has been part of the history of the church.xa0 The testimonies are to prove that not only is the message biblical it is still for today.xa0 The miraculous aspects of the testimonies reveal the power of the Kingdom of God today that is to accompany the preaching of the gospel. The book is to be a challenge to the cessationist and/or liberal traditions.xa0 But, more importantly it has been used to cause a great hunger in many.xa0 Some pastors upon praying the prayer near the end of the bookxa0 have received their own impartation of Holy Spirit's power and gifts.xa0 A few of these are now powerfully being used of God in their denomination or networks throughout the United States and around the world. What if more is biblical? Even essential? God is not a God of carefully measured handouts. He longs to give you more--as much as you're willing to receive. More love. More power. More faith. More joy. More results in prayer. With his trademark insight and encouragement, Randy Clark explains that more is not only biblical but essential for greater fruitfulness in ministry and service. And he shares how you can access the more God wants to give you. It all starts with grace. Grace is more than receiving eternal life. It is how we experience God's presence and power in our lives, and how He empowers us to do more than we ever imagined. He wants to give you more . He wants you to be a vessel of His glory. He wants to fill you with His Spirit and His gifts. Will you accept? Randy Clark is the founder of Global Awakening, a teaching, healing, and impartation ministry that crosses denominational lines. An in-demand international speaker, he is part of the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening and travels extensively for conferences, international missions, leadership training, and humanitarian aid. He earned his bachelors degree from a Baptist University, Oakland City University 1974, his master's degree in divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KYxa0 1977, and will receive his doctor's of ministry degree from United Theological seminary, a United Methodist seminary 2013. Randy was a leader of the Vineyard movement in its early days and served in the Vineyard movement for 17 years, until 2001.xa0 He was used of God to begin what was known as the Toronto Blessing, and is best known today for a special grace for impartation that has touched many key leaders around the world who have since become internationally known.xa0 Randy and his wife live near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
