But he always felt his true calling was in children's book illustration and now pursues that dream from his flat in London. Features & Highlights

  • Whoever heard of a vegetarian T. rex? Everyone knows that tyrannosauruses are big and scary, so when a placid duckbill dinosaur's egg ends up in the wrong nest confusion is sure to ensue! When the baby dinosaur hatches out, he's so out of place that his grisly big sisters call him Tyrannosaurus Drip. Poor little Drip: all he wants is a quiet life munching on water weed . . . Written by the acclaimed Julia Donaldson and illustrated by the award-winning David Roberts, Tyrannosaurus Drip is a rhyming story that's full of fun!

Great book for dinosaur loving kids !

Wonderful story for many age groups, boys or girls. Both my grandchildren love it. Reading it to them is so enjoyable due to the poetic rhyme ingeniously thought out to portray the story of a dinosaur that is different from the rest. After I had read it for about the tenth time, I realized what a great book to get for vegetarians ! One type of dinosaur group are meat eaters, but the other group are plant eaters. Very witty of the author, Julia Donaldson. Sending cheers of applause on a great children's book !
