Description
"Offers unusual details that keep the reading experience fresh; an infant earth spirit running amok in Rowan's house is a moment not soon forgotten." - Publisher's Weekly "A fun, fast-paced read with a compelling main character, excellent world-building, and refreshingly unique mythological creatures. Greystone delivers an impressive start to an intriguing new series." - Leah Cypess, Author of MISTWOOD "From the first page, Truthsight reaches out insistently, drawing us into hidden corners of our world, into shadowy places populated by pixies and centaurs, by harpies and elves--all with plenty of magical qualities to fascinate us, all with enough humanity to seem utterly real. Amy's struggles to protect these creatures, and to save her own life, keep her in constant danger. It is fast-paced, and suspenseful. It is also heart-breaking, funny, terrifying, and passionate. It is, in the end, deeply satisfying. It is not to be missed." - B.K. Stevens, Agatha-, Anthony-, and Macavity-nominated author "Truthsight is a compelling debut novel with a smart, forthright heroine, a good-hearted but rough around the edges hero, and a unique approach to supernatural creatures. Not the sweet little fairy type either. Like humans, they run the spectrum from kind to vile. But vile is good when it makes you squirm. Not to mention appreciate the heroine's toughness that much more." - Michelle Markey Butler, Author of HOMEGOING "An epic, beautiful, heartbreaking struggle against enemies both seen and unseen. A beautiful tapestry of magic, myth, and the power of choice. Highly recommended!" - Red Hot Books

- AUTHOR INTERVIEW
- Q: Why do you write?
- A:
- Books, and in particular fantasy books, have always been a huge part of my life. In my home, standard dinner conversation includes discussions of how long it might take a hell-hound curse to take hold, and techniques a pixie might use to take down a larger opponent. If you read my novels, you'll see how many of those conversations sooner or later find their way into my writing.
- Q: What books do you write?
- A:
- I write urban fantasy stories filled with magic, suspense, and the occasional centaur. I generally fuel my creativity with an insatiable appetite for reading and frequent episodes of Doctor Who. (And lots and lots of Diet Coke.) I have two series out now and below is the reading order.

- Q: Why do you write urban fantasy?
- A:
- Urban fantasy is definitely my first love. For me, urban fantasy is a mixture of rich, compelling metaphor, and awesome, inspiring heroes who spark the imagination and make you want to face down the demons in your own life.
