Description

Aimee Easterling is a USA Today Bestselling author writing on the boundary between urban fantasy and paranormal romance. She specializes in spunky shifters and invites you to dive into her werewolf world in the Wolf Rampant trilogy, the spinoff Bloodling serial, and her new Alpha Underground series. Studying biology and working as a naturalist have both informed Aimee's writing, but she's quite willing to let reality slide in favor of a good story. When not writing, she loves to read and always keeps books by Robin McKinley, Patricia Briggs, and Elizabeth Peters on her shelf. You can learn more at www.aimeeeasterling.com.

DNF. Dominance is not the same as physical bullying skills.

Didnot finish. I got to about 20% before I got fed up with Fen's whining once again. Apparently being dominant is about inner strenght but Fen us to blind to see that if you can back down a person you are by definition more dominant. As if teenagers should always be something they're not. Not everyone can be a dominant. The writer has a funny view on how people work. If you are dominant people let you take control (wake up call Fen). And if you're not really dominant you probably don't want to be in charge in the first place. Where in book one in the series Ginger assumed Fen was lesbian because of her dress style (which was apparently a completely normal assumption for a lesbian woman who herself is very girly), and apparently wolves don't have the nose to figure that sort of thing out. In this book Fen thinks she is not an alpha because she would lose a physical fight. That's not about dominance it's about physical strenght and bullying. Anyway this pushed to many of my buttons. If you want believable dominant interaction don't bother with this series.

But of course nothing ever goes easily for these guys

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

There isn't much time before the next All-Pack, where Fen will find out if she and her friends have been voted in and granted pack status and she will become Alpha (again). But of course nothing ever goes easily for these guys. We see the return of an old enemy and new ones. Fen has to prove to herself and everyone else that she is the Alpha her pack deserves.
This book is packed full of non-stop action! "Just one more page" turned into several chapters and before I knew it, it was over. There are so many twists and turns you can never guess what will happen next. Wolf Landing is the third and final book in the Alpha Underground series. I will miss Fen and Hunter and the other shifters. I'm glad we got see Wolfie for a bit as well and I hope we get some more stories in the future. Maybe even about some of the other pack members :)
