This does not work for the USA.

I was so disappointed when I tried make these stitches but couldn't figure out why they didn't look right. The lady that wrote this book is from the United Kingdom and used the UK's crochet names for these stitches which are totally different from the American stitch names. Unless I want to change every stitch name to the USA stitch name (which I did start to do) it makes it really hard to use this book. Why was this NOT listed in the description that this book has all the UK terminology? When I am using the Amazon website from the USA, I'm not expecting to be receiving a book written by someone from the UK and for UK crocheters.
