James Patterson and Andrew Cross

James Patterson and Andrew Cross have once again put together a good read, 3rd Degree. The Woman's Murder Club is hard a work trying to figure out just who these crazy people are. Why are they murdering families? What is the connection, if any, with them? It begins when Lt. Lindsay Boxer and her dog, Martha, are running near Fort Point in San Francisco. An explosion of a condo and the horror begins. This is only the beginning of an exciting read. Lindsay meets a gentleman from Home Land Security and the sparks begin to fly between them. Lindsay and Molinari fly together to Portland to look into a recent murder that is similar. Is it? Not only is she trying to solve a murder, but she finds herself falling for an agent from HLS, Molinari. She learns that he too is interested in her. Cindy and Claire along with Jill are trying to figure out just who or what is August Spies? You the reader will also learn of the death of a very close friend of the Woman's Murder Club. Not recommended for the young reader. DP, Castro Valley, CA.

I was routing for the bad guys in this novel

I was routing for the bad guys in this novel; they made some very good points. about greedy capitalists.
This book didn’t move as well as many other James Patterson novels. Lindsey’s romance and Jill’s death just didn’t work for me. I bought the next book in the series, but I won’t read beyond that unless the plotting and character development gets a lot better.

A must read book

hands down the best book in the series. This one is full of surprises that I personally would have never assumed. There were some parts that I could suggest, but the ending really had my jaw drop.

Not for me this time.

"3rd Degree" by James Patterson is the third book in the Women's Murder Club series. Having read the previous two I was looking forward to this one.
Unfortunately I've ended up skipping chapters just so I didn't have to record it as unfinished. I found it very disappointing, the plot within the storyline was boring and the female characters just weren't the same - Claire especially just wasn't her normal bubbly strong self. I've read other readers reviews and it still seems to have a good following but for me it just didn't do it. I have all the other books in the series - I believe there's another 14 or so to go - so hopefully they'll pick up again with the next one.

Good Read

Like all the JP books they end as a fantastic thriller however i did find about half way through this book got a little slow for me - still a good read though and because i love Lindsay Boxer our female heroin i'm glad that i have read it so i am up to date with all the WMC series. This book also has a change for one of the characters which introduces a new member to the WMC in the 4th, 5th and 6th novels. You wouldn't want to miss reading this book if you love the WMC
