Secrets and Lies Make Love's Happily Ever After Evasive

This is a book that takes place in 1805, England. It is a love story that has a very interesting twist. When we first are introduced to the hero, Greyson Everett, Marquess of Cadmael and future Duke, he seems to be very immature and his father is sending him far to the north to labor as a farmhand. He has been keeping a mistress and acting much like other noble single gentlemen who have full pockets and his father believes he needs a lesson taught to him. Unfortunately, that lesson is not being given out of love, but spite. So, we learn that this young man has a very nasty father.
Then we meet the heroine of our story, Hailey Woodville, who knows nothing about the lie that this new farmhand hides, nor of the story of his father. She also doesn’t know her own family’s secret history. The pair are strongly attracted to each other, and fate seems to be tempting them sorely. This is a very cleverly written book and a page turner for me. It was very sensual and hot, in all the right places! Will there be that HAE? I can’t give anymore away than I already have, but I do promise a very enjoyable read and heartily recommend this one! It promises to be the first of a wonderful series, The Wayward Woodvilles.

I received "A Duke of A Time " from the fantabulous Tamara Gill, and voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. This is the first book in her new series called The Wayward Woodvilles. Greyson Everett, Marquess of Cadmael is forced by his father, a Duke, to change his wayward ways by going to work as an impoverished farmhand at the estate owned by Miss Hailey Woodville's parents. In this story,  we learn that not everything is always as it appears and that sometimes our judgements are skewed by what we think seems to be the truth. Life teaches us lessons the hard way sometimes. A beautiful story of trust and commitment.
