Added to my favorites list!

I really enjoy Amy Harmon books but this one is my favorite by far! This book and Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers are my two favorite books and I read a lot! I prefer historical fiction but will branch out occasionally. I liked A Girl Called Samson so much that I talked my husband into reading it - he just started but he's enjoying it as well.

A woman of unique skills

I love stories of the American revolution to begin with. Most history lessons just gloss over much of the hardship and daily grind. This story added the difficulty of being female with the desire to obtain freedom for the new nation.

Historical Novel about a Female Patriot

If you enjoy historical novels about strong women-you'll love this book. Deborah Samson dressed as a man to fight as a patriot in the revolutionary war not because she wanted to be a man but because she wanted more freedom as a woman.
