Fascinating so far!

I'm in a group that's studying this book, and it's not just fascinating, but very relevant to modern lives.

Good structured philosophical exercise program.

This book is like having your own philosophy tutor. If, like me, you've read and reread all the Roman Stoics, you may find the explications of basic principles to be old hat. Still, the structured framework of weekly exercises is great to keep you thinking about and focusing on a series of concepts in a rational order. If you are new to Stoicism, this is probably the best available secondary literature to teach it.

I don't find a couple of the exercises I've seen so far to be terribly helpful, but others may get more out of them. In a couple, the amount of blank space given in which to "write for three to five minutes about..." is pretty small - but that's probably good, because you don't really want to buy a book full of blank pages.

Great book

This book is awesome. The product arrived in a timely manner. It did not have any ripped/messed up pages, and I have been enjoying the process of reading through it and doing the exercises in it.

Excellent workbook for practicing Ancient Greek philosophy!

I love the layout of this book: short readable sections followed by instructions on what to do and why to do it, with places to write my thoughts. I intend to use it in my high school classes because it fits so many topics that I teach: how to deal with people, anxiety, and the stress of the world you can’t control. Great book!
