Misleading book

This book is erroneously billed as book 8 of the Hopes Crossing series. It was a waste of money because it includes 2 stories--one of which is book #1, which I already bought. I bought this entire series for my elderly mother and she was very disappointed in the "so-called" part 8. Not good.

This is NOT the 8th book to the Hopes Crossing series!

I'm very confused about this book. It isn't the 8th book in the Hopes Crossing series. The first part is a totally different book, and the second part is the 1st book in the series. I'm really disappointed! I bought in on my kindle, but still returned it.

Beware: Not Hope's Crossing

Why is this book 8 of the Hope's Crossing series? I only bought this book because I thought it was. I have hardly read any of it because I can't shake my disappointment.

*** L O V E D I T ***

I read the paperback edition of these stories and really loved each one. Both of these authors just don't write bad books.

A Little Bit Country : by Debbie Macomber
Rorie is driving her boyfriends car, an MGB, and on vacation. While taking the scenic route through the back country roads the car breaks down. She is rescued by two brothers, Skip and Clay, that own a farm, a stud farm. down the road. Clay is the ruggedly handsome one that Rorie is attracted to. Lots of goings on to get them to their HEA.

Blackberry Summer: by RaeAnne Thayne
Claire Bradford is the owner of String Fever, a bead shop. Riley McKnight has just returned to Hope's Crossing as the new police chief. He left town ten years ago after disgracing himself and his family. Now some in town still have not forgotten or forgiven him for all he did. He and Claire grew up together and each had a crush on the other.

Now ten years later, Claire has been in an accident with her children and it is Riley who comes to their aid and saves them.. Claire has severe injuries as she has broken her left leg and left arm and badly sprained her right ankle. When she returns home after a short hospital stay she is inundated with help.....most especially from Riley. And the smoldering embers suddenly flare up. This makes for a most interesting story and at times will have you in tears but it is all worth it.
