Description

This heartwarming and unforgettable story by #1 New York Times bestselling author Debbie Macomber is available for the first time in over ten years! When Lacey Lancaster's beautiful and beloved Abyssinian cat is wooed—and won—by the bad-boy cat next door, she's furious. Now, Cleo is going to be a mother and it's all neighbor Jack Walker's fault. He should have kept a better eye on his roving feline Romeo! As for Jack, how dare he flirt with her when it's pretty clear he's got a long-time girlfriend? After all, she can hear them fighting through the walls! But when it turns out the woman in question is really his sister, Lacey realizes that love might indeed live right next door. She's been burned—badly—once before, but with kittens on the way and a good man at her side, maybe it's finally time to turn this into a family affair. Debbie Macomber has more than 100 million copies of her books in print, and her stories about home and family have a worldwide audience and have been translated into twenty-three languages. In addition to being a #1 New York Times bestseller in fiction many times over, she also has an enormous following among knitters as the author of dozens of pattern and craft books. In 2008, she launched a branded line of knitting products through Leisure Arts, the company that publishes her knitting guides. Debbie and her husband, Wayne, have four children and nine grandchildren, and split their time between Washington State and Florida. This is Debbie’s second picture book co-authored with Mary Lou Carney; their first, The Truly Terribly Horrible Sweaer . . . That Grandma Knit , was published in 2009.

a puny book, more like for a child.

When I recieved the book I couldn't believe that I had been charged for such a small book. Usually a pocketbook is bigger than this one was. I didn't like it and haven't read it yet, I just got stuck with the bill.

To make sure books are listed, paper back or hard cover

I’m sure the book will be good, I’m just a little disappointed that it was a small paper back book, and for the price it’s a little much. It’s fine I’ll enjoy it.

First of her books

I have seen Debbie Macomber all over the place but never read one. I'm not a romance novel type person. I got this one because it involved a cat. Being a cat lover, I had to read this book. Not too bad for the type of book it is. Too bad there wasn't more involvement with the cat.

Wonderful stories

Wonderful stories, as always. Debbie has a way of drawing you into each and every one of her stories. I love the large print (wish more books were available with it).
