At this time this is the most exceptional air fryer cookbook you could pick up.

Recently I purchased the Cuisinart countertop toaster / air fryer / convection oven. Since I am very familiar with Meredith Laurence I was intrigued by the fact that this book is titled for "Every" air fryer. I had previously purchased the Philips XL air fryer and returned it due to a variety of reasons. Primarily the fact that those type air fryers at the time were difficult to find a recipe book for them.

First, I will tell you that every recipe in this book has a photograph of the dish. To me that is extremely important. Secondly, the book is divided into nine food categories. This makes it very easy to go directly to what you're looking for. Thirdly, the book has several sections that deal with "how to" which I think would be useful to anyone cooking not just exclusively for an air fryer. Fourth at the beginning of the book are several pages that deal with converting recipes, dealing with hazards with what you prepare, newbie tips, and numerous air fryer
tips.
I have gone through the entire book and the only thing I would point out that really isn't a negative but might be of interest to those that are intolerant to dairy. There are over 20 of these recipes that include cheese, yogurt, Mayo, and cream cheese. Since I am one of those people intolerant to dairy, after reading the recipes I think several of those recipes you can most likely leave out the dairy.
The only thing I would say I was hoping was in the book that is not in the book is a chart of cooking times and temperatures for various Meats, veggies, and desserts.
I am extremely pleased with this cookbook and have found it to be thorough covering a variety of foods. I believe that I will use it regularly with my new air fryer oven

Helpful And Tasty!

I'm a big fan of the Blue Jean Chef, I watch her on QVC all the time, she is wonderful and her foods are delicious. I bought her "Air Fry Everything!" book right after I got my amazing Elite Platinum 3.2 Quart Electric Digital Air Fryer Cooker and her book guided me along in my early Air Fryer days.

After enjoying the recipes in the "Everything!" book many times, I was thrilled that Meredith was coming out with this new book, "Air Fry Genius". More than a hundred new recipes to excite my taste buds.

The back of the new book has a very helpful cooking chart that gives a wonderful guide in preparation of veggies, meats and frozen foods.

The book has a great layout for each recipe. A good picture of each tasty treat accompanies all the recipes and the directions are very simple and direct. This book helps me create wonderful food in spite of my limited skills. Meredith knows how to talk to a cook with my limitations and it's Not scary, and it's really FUN.

My first new recipe was the Parmesan Asparagus, a favorite veggie around my house, and it's soooo fast and easy! It will be made often, it took 5 minutes!!!
Yesterday I prepared the Rib Eye Cheese Steaks with Fried Onions....Amazing! With seven ingredients and five quick and easy preparations it takes about 20 minutes till I was ready to eat and I will want this again and again. Fresh cooked meat and fried onions with melted cheese...What's not to enjoy?!?! and it is so easy too.

The Elite Platinum Air Fryer is the most used appliance in the house and I will always have one in the future. I will also always have the Blue Jean Chef's cook books in my collection. Besides the recipes, she teaches how to get the most out of my Air Fryer, using it in ways that will surprise you and make your life better.

She will give you knowledge and knowledge is power....and delicious too!

BUY, BUY, BUY

I highly recommend this cookbook if you have an air fryer and even if you don't as the recipes can be converted to a regular oven. They are that good! What I like about it best is that everything is explained well, photos of each recipe as well as many tips. I have made numerous recipes from it and they have all exceeded my expectations. Someone mentioned that there were no cooking times in the book but they are all there, listed by category on the last pages.

If you buy it, try the Meatloaf recipe on page 110. My husband says it's the BEST I've ever made in all the years we've been married ! That's a LOT of Meatloaf..........

Thanks Meredith !!!!!

All her recipe books are good. Not quick meals but delicious meals.

all her books are good. I would recommend any of them. Good variety of recipes that taste good. These are not necessarily quick meals so if you don't like to cook it might not be for you. I LOVE to cook and the air fryer is a genius way to avoid tons of fat but still get crispy. It is also often faster than an oven. It is the prep time of most recipes however that determines how long to get a meal on the table. We often prep ahead and sometimes prep several things and freeze, then pop in the air fryer for a quick meal. You might find you eat more veggies because any vegetable you toss with olive oil, a little thyme, basil, oregano, and maybe a pinch of pepper flakes, then air fry until not quite soft, will be wonderful, also sometimes toss with fresh grated Parmesan after cooking.

I have several air fryer cookbooks, including Meredith's first one and this is by far my favorite. She always explains things really well (she is a cooking instructor afterall) and she gives handy tips for successful frying. I use my fryer almost everyday and I highly recommend this book.

The recipes are fine but the instructions are so light that it is difficult to read for people like me with Macular degeneration.
Meridth's first air fryer book is excellent and easy to read.

this is a keeper

this is the second of Ms Lawerence's books I have purchased for my air fryer and frankly I think more usable then the first one which was good. Lots of recipes that would work as written or with a couple of changes become another dish. Nicely laid out format and easy instructions. Well worth the cost and happily its less here then other places

Great cookbook! A must have!

I am new to air frying. Love this cookbook, it not only has healthy great tasting recipes it educates you. Easy to follow instructions and great tips. Has pictures of each dish, which I also love. Editing is supreme. Another big plus for me is she dos not use salt (very little if any) whch is important for me since my goal us to lower sodium and fat in my diet. I am so impressed yesterday I ordered her other air fryer cook book "Air Fry Everything".

lack of font contrast makes this difficult to read

I’d give this 5 stars if it wasn’t such a struggle to read
Pros:
Nice pictures, easy instructions, interesting recipes.
Cons: some recipes different than website; the grey font chosen for instructions makes reading difficult, at best.
The same difficult font is used on pages with background images either darker than the font, making reading near-impossible. Or all the text on the page is distorted by background image. (is it really necessary to put a wire rack, or mesh, or other distortion, behind the text?) See photo of that yummy looking chicken with coleslaw.

The first picture that caught my eye was clearly named in big, bold print. Ingredient list was easy to read, too, and I wanted to make it tonight. Then the headache from the struggle to make out the medium grey text of the instructions caused me to stop reading. So I googled the recipe and found a similar on on bluejeanchef website. I smiled.

Then I began to compare ingredients, book to website (ingredient list in book is easy to read) and noted a difference. I And the ones in the book are more appropriate in my kitchen. For example, I don’t want spirilized zucchini as called for on the website, rather the green beans listed in the book (and maybe add non-spirilized zucchini).
However, I am new to air frying. So I wonder: how does the cooking differ?

I’d really like to use this book but to do so, I need to find a way to make the instructions legible.
Or maybe I’ll give it to a 20 year old.

Got ink?

This might be a five-star cookbook: Beautiful photos of finished recipes,
and the recipes, as best as I can tell, look like they might be quite good . . .
But then some genius figured they could save money by using only a third of the ink really necessary to print the text.
Even more useless than the recipes is the index: Three-point type with almost grey text!
