Jase and Mila's book was beautifully written. The love these two share is the love every girl wishes for. The support this whole crew share is wonderful. Michelle has touched my heart with each and every book starting with Heartless and I'm sure with each one that follow.

This is
Jase and Mila’s story. Friends for a long time. Mila has been in love with Jase since forever and one day having the guts to tell her best friend she's in love with him but only ending up not doing it. Push those feelings wayyyyy down is the best scenario for her.

They are at Trinity College and Jase loves to annoy and get Mila riled up. He loves her spunky, feistyness and seems to want more of the moments with her. As his feelings start to grow stronger for Mila, things take a turn. The story is an emotional rollercoaster. Jase is arrogant but he cares deeply for his family and friends. When things are tough, he protects those most important to him with everything he's got. I'm looking forward to more from this generation!

This book should be read after book 1 Cold Hearted Heir. More goodies and understanding of some hidden Easter eggs you can also read this series parents series Screw Crew and Trinity Academy. Although it is not necessary to enjoy this book.
Jase and Mia had witty flirty banter in the first book so when this book came out I was so excited and couldn’t wait to dive right in and let it devour me. You can tell that she was in love with Jase but with his playboy ways and being friends, she didn’t want to risk things esp if all his flirting was just friendly and not his way to show he was seriously into her.
The ride to find their way from Friends to Lover was an emotional one to say at the least. It will make you swoon and end up wanting to message the author to tell her how bad your ugly crying I know I did!

Arrogant Heir is the second book of The Heirs series by Michell Heard which was told from the perspectives of Mila and Jase.

This is the first book that I've read from Michell Heard, so basically, there are many books that I have skipped from her and I really didn't know what to expect. Even so, I was still able to catch up and understand the relationship between the characters.

This story tells about these two best friends a.k.a Jase and Mila who had a strong friendship since their childhood. In this book, Jase is known for his reputation as a playboy with his charming personality and smooth-talking ability. Whereas for Mila, she had been in love with Jase since their younger days but her feeling was unrequited. Throughout their friendship, Jase won't stop flirting with Mila because he loved her to tease her a lot. But somewhere along the way, he started to develop something more but isn't willing to take the risk for the sake of their friendship. However, a tragedy happened that caused Jase to protect Mila which brings them even close than ever.

Overall, I have to say that I didn't expect the main plot at all. I thought this will be a typical unrequited love & friends to lovers trope, but that wasn't the case. It was way more so I was taken by surprise when the tragedy struck Mila. Even so, I still loved the chemistry between Jase and Mila and how slowly they started to explore their feelings towards one another. This book is pretty emotional and overwhelming for me and I just love how protective Jase when it comes to Mila. This book is pretty enjoyable and I think Michelle did a great job in delivering this story and I can't wait to read more from her.

Honestly, I'm not sure, I will be able to express my feelings about this book. It was a rollercoaster.
Mila broke my heart. That girl can be so fragile but also so strong at the same time.
The only thing, I felt frustrated is about Milas feelings for Jase. I felt like we were running in circles, with that. I always preferred, when h took a steps to move on or just go with the flow and see where it will take her, even if she will hurt at the end, instead of always saying she needs to put space and to move on, but going nowhere from that point.
Jase drove me crazy. Okay, let's be fair. He drove me crazy at the beginning. While I understood his feelings, but also it still made me irked.
But later on... Jase was unwavering source of strength and support. That was priceless to see.

Michelle writes some of the best characters I've read. You can't help but love them. Jace and Mila are no different. I guess they have to be pretty amazing kids their parents were phenomenal. This book was pretty intense. It deals with really hard topics so trigger warning. I think the author handled the difficult stuff realistically. It felt authentic. These are the kind of friends I want.

If you love angst, and unrequitted love, this book is for you. This book is fabulous, with just the right amount of angst, and drama to keep the story going. It's not over the top, it's not contrived. The plot flows nicely, and the characters all have chemistry. The world is set in the same world as the authors "Heirs" series, these are their chilldren. No you don't need to have read those to read this book at all. This next generation have it even better, and also have it worse, if that makes sense.
Set in the world of Trinity Academy which is a college for the uber rich. All the characters are interconected, such, as cousins, and or siblings. The by play between Mila and Jase is off the charts hot, but there is so much angst in this book. Not everything is cookie cutter pretty in their world just because they are rich kids, and this book shows the underbelly. Told in dual pov, this is a must read for anyone who loves the true angst.

This is book 2 in the Heirs series and this story is about Jase & Mila.
Mila is in Love with Jase for many years already, but never told him. He’s the playboy of the group of friends, and doesn’t take her seriously. Until one day he asks her why she’s hostile to him and gets an answer he isn’t prepared for!
Events happened, and Jase is forced to really think about his feelings and getting everything sorted.
The storyline is awesome, as it’s expected by this author, but I didn’t connect with these two main characters as I did with all others. Can’t wait for the next book tho!!!

A night out with the group doesn't end well for Mila.
Jase knows that Mila needs him now more than ever, he's finally facing facts.
I loved the determination of Mila character and seeing Jase's protectiveness really come out.
